Saves up to 500 overrides in one request. Each override is matched on employee and year:

  • If the employee has no override for that year, one is created.
  • If the employee already has one, its qualified_overtime_compensation and other_lines are replaced with the values sent. A field left out is cleared — omitting qualified_overtime_compensation reverts Box 12 Code TT to the amount Check computes, and omitting other_lines removes every Box 14a line. metadata changes only when it's sent.

Either every override is saved, or none are. If any override is invalid, the request fails with a validation_error whose input_errors point at each failing override by its position, such as ["overrides", "1", "non_field_errors"]. An employee that doesn't exist or that you can't access fails with Employee not found. at ["overrides", <index>, "employee"].

The response lists the saved overrides under results, in the order they were sent.

This request supports idempotency. Check sends a created or updated webhook for each override saved, including existing overrides whose values didn't change.
