A contractor tax statement is a contractor's 1099-NEC for one company and one tax year. Use it to see whether a contractor's 1099-NEC has been published, and how it will be delivered.
To get a contractor's 1099-NEC as a PDF, either before or after it's published, include the statement in a tax package. Once a statement is published, its document is a contractor tax document.
