Setup Components

Setup Components are used to collect information from employers and their employees before they run their first payroll. By using our components you can build a high conversion payroll onboarding funnel with very low developer lift.

Full Service Setup Submission Component

The Company Full Service Setup Submission Component allows an employer to submit themselves to Check for Full Service Embedded Setup. It contains all the steps required for Check to collect everything we need to perform an Embedded Setup for your customer.

This component bundles together the following components, which can also be used independently:

Self Service Setup Components

The Company Team Setup and Company Pay History components can be used in combination with some of the components above to implement a completely self serve, product led setup funnel in your product.

Company Components

Company Components are meant to be used by your employers to fill out important information, access tax documents and reports, and even run payroll.

Company Onboard

Company Onboard allows a Company to enter important information about themselves and their employees into Check. It bundles together the following components, which can also be used independently:

Company Tax Documents

The Company Tax Documents Component enables a Company to easily access all of their tax documents in one place.

Company Reports

The Company Reports Component enables a Company to pull reports about their payroll activity.

Run Payroll

The Run Payroll Component allows Companies to create, edit, delete, preview, and approve new payrolls.

Company Checklist Component

The Company Checklist Component allows Companies to step through a sequence of recommended steps ahead of Year End, or other filing periods. The Component is bundled with the Filing Preview Component, which can be used independently.

Employee Components

Employee Components are built to be used by end employees to fill out important information when they are hired, access tax documents and paystubs, and even run payroll.

Employee Onboard

Similar to Company Onboard, Employee Onboard allows an Employee to enter important information about themselves into Check. This component is great to use to allow Employees to quickly enter in information required to run payroll when they are first hired. The component bundles together the following components, which can also be used independently:

Employee Profile

Employee Profile allows employee to view their profile relevant to payroll, including general demographics and details, payment methods and linked accounts, and workplaces they have been assigned to

Employee Benefits

Employee Benefits allows an employer to view, create, edit, and delete benefits for the specified employee.

Employee Post-Tax Deductions

Employee Post-Tax Deductions allows an employer to view, create, edit, and delete post-tax deductions for the specified employee.

Employee Tax Documents

Employee Tax Documents allows employees to see all tax documents that have previously been filed.

Employee Paystubs

Employee Paystubs lists all of the paystubs available to download in PDF format for a single employee.

Contractor Onboard

The Contractor Onboard Component allows Contractors to submit all information required for a Company to pay them on their next payroll. This includes filling out the W-9 form.
